Ingredients

  • 2 cups graham cracker crumbs (25 squares)
  • 3/4 cup nuts, toasted chopped
  • 3/4 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1 1/4 teaspoons cinnamon ground
  • 3/4 cup butter (1 1/2 sticks; 6-ounces) melted
  • 1 package (14 to 16-ounces) Super Moist Cake Mix
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/3 cup vegetable oil
  • 3 large eggs
  • Powdered Sugar Glaze

Preparation

Step 1

Heat oven to 350 degrees.
Grease and flour rectangular pan, 13 x 9 x 2- inches.
Mix cracker crumb, nuts, brown sugar, cinnamon and margarine; reserve.
Beat cake mix, water, oil and eggs in large mixer bowl on low speed for 2 minutes, scraping sides of bowl frequently.
Pour just enough batter into pan to cover the bottom; sprinkle with about 2 cups reserved crumb mixture.
Pour remaining batter carefully into pan to cover first layer; now sprinkle with remaining crumb mixture.
Bake until cake springs back when touched lightly in center; 45 to 50 minutes; cool.
Drizzle with Powdered Sugar Glaze.

POWDERED SUGAR GLAZE; Mix 1 cup powdered sugar and 1 tablespoon water.
Stir in additional water, 1 teaspoon at a time until smooth and of desired consistency.
(Double Glaze for better topping)
