Ingredients
- 4 cups all-purpose flour
- 3 cups sugar
- 1 stick (4-ounces) butter room temperature
- 1 cup (8-ounces) Crisco
- 3/4 cup (6-ounces) apricot brandy
- 8 large eggs

Preparation
Step 1
Cream butter, Crisco, and sugar. Add eggs 2 at a time, beating well with electric mixer and alternating with flour until all these ingredients are used.
Add brandy last and beat well.
Grease and flour a 10-inch tube pan.
Pour batter into prepared pan.
Start to cook in COLD oven, turn oven to 350 degrees. Bake for 1 hour and 15 minutes or until wooded pick comes out clean when inserted in center of cake.
Cool in pan on wire rack for 15 minutes. Remove from pan and cool on wire rack.
Yield: 1 10-Tube Cake.
