  • 3 cups self-rising flour
  • 3 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 can (12-ounces ) cold beer
  • 1/2 cup (1 stick) butter melted

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Grease 9-inch x 5-inch loaf pan or casserole pan.
Mix flour, sugar and beer well.
Let rest 10 minutes. Must do to for the loaf to rise.
Bake for 30 minutes. Remove from oven and pour the melted butter over loaf.
Cook 10 minutes more or until brown.
Best eaten warm.
