Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups light brown sugar not packed
- 1 stick (4-ounces) butter room temperature
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 pound candied red cherries cut up
- 1/2 pound candied green pineapple cut up
- 2 cups pecans, toasted chopped
- 2 teaspoons vanilla
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon

Preparation
Step 1
Preheat over to 300 degrees F.
Cream margarine and brown sugar; add egg and beat well. Mix in flour, vanilla and cinnamon.
Stir in fruits and nuts.
Pour into well greased and floured 13x9-inch pan.
Bake for about 1 hour. Start checking for doneness after about 45 minutes to prevent over cooking.
Remove from oven, cool then cut into bars.
Store in tightly covered container.
