Ingredients
- 35 Saltine crackers, unsalted
- 2 sticks (8 ounces; 1 cup) butter or margarine melted
- 1 cup brown sugar, packed
- 2 cups (12 ounces; 1 large bag) semisweet chocolate morsels
- 1 cup pecan pieces, toasted

(Like Chocolate Covered Toffee)
Cover cookie sheet with foil. Spray foil with non-stick cooking spray.
Place crackers on foil in 5 x 7-inch rows.
Add brown sugar to melted margarine in small bowl and stir; microwave this mixture on high for 2 minutes. stirring every 30 seconds.
Pour over crackers.
Bake in preheated 350 degree oven 17-20 minutes. (THE BUTTER MIXTURE SHOULD BUBBLE, NOT BURN.)
Sprinkle chocolat morsels on top. When chocolate begins to melt, spread over crackers.
Sprinkle nuts on top.
Refrigerate 1 hour.
Break into pieces.
Freezes well.
