Preparation
Step 1
2-14" Pizza Pans
Prepare sauce:
Cook all sauce ingredients together over medium heat, bring to a boil; cook, simmering about 20 minutes or slightly thickened. Let cool to use.
Dough instructions: Dissolve yeast in warm water (About 105 F), sprinkle the 1/2 teaspoon sugar into yeast mixture. Proof. (Wait until mixture bubbles or shows action usually about 4-5 minutes.)
Place all dry ingredients in food processor (Using dough hook) and blend; slowly add yeast mixture.
Process until dough forms a ball. Remove Dough, knead a couple of times by hand and place in lightly oiled bowl and cover. Let rise in warm place until doubled, about 1 hour.
Divide dough into the lightly oiled pizza pans. Sprinkle dough with some corn meal for more texture. Spread dough with fingers around bottom and part way up the sides of pans. If dough tears, mend- - just pinch together. Pierce dough with a fork and blind bake about 5-6 minutes.
Topping instructions:
Spread prepared tomato sauce over pizzas. Add mozzarella cheese. Next add cooked, sliced or crumbled cooked meat selection, next peppers, onions, mushrooms. Add any other selection of toppings. Sprinkle parmesan cheese on top.
Bake at 400 degrees F for about 15-20 minutes. Check often to see when crust is light golden and cheese melted.
