  • 3/4 cup all purpose flour
  • 3/4 cup whole wheat flour
  • 3 T sugar
  • 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 1/2 cups low-fat buttermilk
  • 1 T vegetable oil
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 large egg white
  • Cooking spray

Preparation

Step 1

Lightly spoon flours into dry measuring cups – level. Combine flour, sugar, baking powder, soda and salt into large bowl. Combine buttermilk, oil, egg and egg white, stirring. Add to flour, stirring until moist. Heat nonstick griddle. Spoon ¼ c batter per pancake.

Keep cooked pancakes warm in 200 degree oven while preparing remaining pancakes.
