Ingredients

  • Topping:
  • 1/2 C granulated sugar
  • 1/2 C sifted all purpose flour
  • 3 Tbl butter
  • 1-1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • Batter:
  • 1-3/4 C sifted all purpose flour
  • 1-1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 6 Tbl butter, softened
  • 1/3 C light brown sugar, packed
  • 2 eggs
  • 3/4 C milk

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Lightly grease bottoms of muffin pan cups.

Combine topping ingredients in small bowl and mix until crumbly.

Sift flour with baking powder and salt. In large bowl, beat butter at medium speed until fluffy. Beat in brown sugar, then egg until very light and fluffy. At low speed, blend in milk, then flour mixture until combined. Pour into muffing cups.

S;prinkle 1 Tbl topping over esah muffin. Bake 20 minutes or until tester comes out clean. Cool on wire rack. Serve warm.
