Ingredients
- 1/4 1/4 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1/2 1/2 1/2 lime
- 1 1 1 tsp minced peeled fresh ginger
- 1 1- to 1 1/2-lb 1/2-lb boneless steak
- 1/2 1/2 1/2 tsp minced garlic
- 1 1 1 Tbsp honey, molasses or hoisin sauce
- 1/4 1/4 1/4 tsp ground black pepper

Step 1
1. Prepare grill: Place grill rack no more than 4 in. from the heat source and coat with nonstick spray. Heat grill.
2. Mix together the first 6 ingredients, squeezing in juice from lime; taste and add more of anything you like. Turn the steak in the sauce once or twice, then let it sit in the sauce until the grill is hot.
3. Turn the steak one more time, then place on the grill; spoon any remaining sauce over it. For rare, grill for about 3 minutes per side for steak under an inch thick or until instant-read thermometer inserted from side to center registers 145°F. For larger or more well-done steak, increase the time slightly.
