Preparation
Step 1
Slice large grapes in half. In a large bowl, combine grapes, apples, and blueberries.
Run a long sharp knife through the can of apple pie filling several times to coarsely chop the apples. Spoon over fruit mixture and toss gently to combine and coat the fruit. Refrigerate until ready to serve.
Just before serving, add sliced bananas and stir gently to coat with the apple pie filling glaze.
Notes:
Use any combination of fruit you'd like, keeping the total amount to 6 or 7 cups of fruit. Keep in mind that the apple pie filling has cinnamon in it, so choose fruits that are complimented by cinnamon.
Once coated in the apple pie filling glaze, the sliced bananas will keep from turning brown for several hours ... or even overnight if they are very firm bananas. I still add mine right before serving, but you do have a few hours leeway if need be.
