Whipped Shortbread

Ingredients

• 3 cup butter, softened
• 1 1/2 cup icing sugar
• 4 1/2 cup flour
• 1 1/2 cup cornstarch

Preparation

Step 1

Beat butter on medium speed until light and fluffy. Gradually add dry ingredients, beating constantly until well-blended.
Dust hands with cornstarch.
Roll dough into 1 inch balls, dip in sprinkles and place on ungreased cookie sheet.
Press lightly with a floured fork.
Bake 300 for 20-22 minutes until cookies are set but not browned.
