Ingredients
- 5 1/2 c all purpose flour
- 2 tsp salt
- 1 pound lard
- 1 Tbsp vinegar
- 1 egg,lightly beaten
- Cold water

Preparation
Step 1
Mix together flour and salt
Cut in lard until mixture resembles coarse oatmeal
In a 1 cup measure combine vinegar and egg
Add water to make 1 cup
Gradually stir liquid into flour mixture
Add only enough water to make dough cling together
Gather into a ball and divide into 6 portions
Wrap unused portions and refrigerate or freeze
Roll out each portion on lightly floured surface
If dough is still sticking chill 1 to 2 hours
Transfer dough to pie plate and bake according to instructions in your recipe
