Ingredients

  • frosting:
  • 1 stick oleo
  • 4 T. cocoa
  • 1/2 c. shortening
  • 1 c. water
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 2 c. flour
  • 1 t. soda
  • 1 t. cinnimon
  • 1 t. salt
  • 1/2 c. buttermilk
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 t. vanilla
  • 1 package powdered sugar
  • 1 t. vanilla
  • 1 stick oleo
  • 4 T. cocoa
  • 6 T. milk

Preparation

Step 1

Bring to boil oleo through water. Mix sugar, flour, soda, cinnimon and salt. Pour boiling mixture into this. Add buttermilk, eggs and vanilla. Pour into prepared jelly roll pan and bake 400* for 20 minutes. Frost while hot.

Boil together frosting ingredients and pour over 1 package powdered sugar and 1 t. vanilla. Frost cake.
