Ingredients
- 2 cups peeled, diced Jonathan apples.
- 1 1/2 cups water
- 1 stick butter
- 2 cups sugar
- 3 cups flour
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 1 tsp. nutmeg
- 2 tsp. baking soda
- 1 cup seedless raisins
- 1/2 cup pitted dates, cut up
- 1 cup black walnuts

Preparation
Step 1
Pack 2 cups apples. May be frozen ahead of time. Cook in 1 1/2 cups water-while still hot put in butter and sugar and let cool.
Sift 3 times, flour cinnamon, nutmeg, baking soda.
Add:
cooled apple mixture, raisins, dates, walnuts
Grease and flour bundt pan. Bake at 300 degrees 1 hour and 45 minutes. Set aside and let cake cool in pan for 20 minutes.
