Barbecue Sauce
I use this sauce for most meats. To use for chicken, cut the water to 1/2 cup so it will be thicker and then baste the chicken before putting in the oven, and baste again two to three times while it roasts.

Ingredients
- 3/4 cup ketchup
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon Dijon mustard
- 1 cup water
- 1 tablespoon brown rice syrup
- 1/4 teaspoon Tabasco
- 1/4 teaspoon chile powder

Step 1
Mix all the ingredients together in a large bowl. Use immediately or refrigerate for use later. This sauce is great on spareribs. It can also be used for chicken. I usually double the recipe and add slice onions.
