Ingredients
- Frosting:
- 2 cups sugar
- 1 1/2 cup crisco oil
- 4 eggs
- 3 cups grated carrots
- 2 cups flour
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 tsp baking soda
- 2 tsp cinnamon
- raisins
- walnuts
- 8 oz. cream cheese softened
- 1/2 cup butter softened
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 4 cups powdered sugar

Preparation
Step 1
Cream crisco and sugar. Add eggs one at a time and beat well after each(this is relly important) Sift flour, soda, salt, and cinnamon. Add dry ingredients slowly. Add grated carrots last of all with a spoonful at a time. I add raisins and walnuts at the end. Bake in a greased and floured 12x15 pan at 350 for at least an hour.
Frosting:
Beat together cream cheese, butter, and vanilla. Add powdered sugar gradually until thick enough to spread.
