Ingredients
- 3/4 tsp coarsely ground black pepper
- 4 skinless chicken breast halves
- 1/4 C freshly chopped basil leaves, plus 2 tbsp freshly minced basil leaves
- 1/3 C (5 tbsp) butter, melted
- 1/4 C butter, at room temperature
- 1 tbsp grated Parmesan
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder
- 1/8 tsp salt
- 1/8 tsp pepper

Preparation
Step 1
1. Butterfly the chicken (if desired)
2. Season chicken with salt and pepper.
3. Stir the chopped basil into the melted butter.
4. Brush the chicken lightly with this mixture.
5. In a small bowl, combine the softened butter, minced basil, Parmesan, garlic powder, salt, and pepper and blend. Transfer to a small serving bowl; set aside.
6. Grill the chicken for about 8 to 10 minutes on each side, basting frequently with the remaining melted butter mixture.
7. Serve the grilled chicken with the basil-butter mixture.
