Heavenly Pie

This is one of my Mother's (Jeannette Costigan's) recipes. [Dorice Davis is the author. I believe Dorice was one of my Mother's friends].

Ingredients

• Whites of 4 eggs beaten stiff, add 1 cup sugar when half beaten, 1/2 tsp. cream tartar, pinch salt. Bake like a meringue on a buttered pie plate, 275° for 25 minutes.
