Ingredients

  • 2 lbs ground sausage or ground beef
  • 2 medium onions chopped
  • 6 garlic clovers
  • 2 14 1/2 oz cans diced tomatoes, undrained
  • 29 oz can tomato sauce
  • 12 oz can tomato paste
  • 2 T dried basil
  • 1 tb dried orgeno
  • 1 T sugar
  • 1 t salt
  • 1/2 t crushed red pepper flakes

Preparation

Step 1

Cook meat, onions and garlic over medium heat for 10 minutes. Drain. Transfer to slow cooker. Stirin remaining ingredients. cook on low 8 - 10 hours. Freezes well.
