Ingredients

  • 3/4-1 lb Pepper Steak or thinly sliced Skirt Steak
  • 3 Tbsp Soy Sauce
  • 2 Tbsp Sherry cooking wine
  • 2 tsp Rice Vinegar
  • 2 tsp Sugar
  • 3/4 tsp Cornstarch
  • 1/4 tsp Black Pepper
  • 2 Tbsp Oil
  • 3 Garlic Cloves, crushed
  • 3 Scallions, sliced
  • 3 Tbsp Sesame Seeds

Preparation

Step 1

Combine soy sauce, sherry, rice vinegar, sugar, cornstarch and black pepper in a small bowl and set aside.

Heat 2 Tbsp oil in a large wok or skillet over medium-high heat. Spread meat pieces in the pan in a single layer and brown 2 minutes. Remove meat from pan and set aside.

Place crushed garlic in pan and heat for 30 seconds. Add scallions and then sauce mixture. Mix well and toss in meat. Add in sesame seeds. Stir-fry 1 minute and remove from heat.

Serve over a bed of cooked rice.
