Ingredients
- Frosting:
- 2 cups sugar
- 2 cups flour
- 1 tsp. soda
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 2 sticks butter
- 4 tbsp. cocoa
- 1 cup water
- 1/2 cup buttermilk
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 stick butter
- 2 tbsp. cocoa
- 6 tbsp. buttermilk
- 1 box powdered sugar (3 1/2 cups) Maybe 4-5 cups is better
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 cup nuts (added last)

Preparation
Step 1
Sift sugar, flour, soda, salt
Melt butter. Add cocoa and water.
Bring to boil and pour over dry ingredients. Add buttermilk, eggs, vanilla.
Frosting
Melt 1 stick butter, add 2 tbsp. cocoa,6 tbsp. buttermilk-Bring to a boil( take off heat) and add it to powdered sugar, vanilla and nuts.
Spread on cake while still hot.
Bake cake in 18x12x1 inch pan at 350 degrees for 20 min.
