Ingredients
- 5 tbsp. butter
- 1 4 oz. bar german chocolate
- 1 3 oz. cream cheese
- 1 cup sugar
- 3 eggs
- 1/2 cup flour-plus 1 tbsp. flour
- 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
- 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans

Step 1
Melt 3 tbsp. butter and chocolate over low heat. Stir and cool. Cream 2 tbsp. butter with cheese-add 1/4 cup sugar. Cream until fluffy. Beat in 1 egg, 1 tbsp. flour and 1/2 tsp. vanilla. Set aside. Beat remaining eggs until light. Slowly beat in sugar until mixture thickens. Add baking powder, salt and remaining flour-add chocolate mixture remaining vanilla, nuts and spread half of chocolate batter in greased 8x9 pan. Top with cheese, spoon rest of chocolate over cheese. Swirl knifr through batter. Bake at 350 degrees for 35 minutes.
