Ingredients
- Batter:
- 1-1/2 C flour
- 1 Tbl baking powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1-1/3 C water
- 1 egg, beaten
- For Sandwiches:
- 6 slices turkey
- 6 slices ham
- 6 slices Swiss Cheese
- 12 slices white bread
- Oil
- Powdered Sugar

Preparation
Step 1
For Batter:
Sift flour, baking powder and salt. Add water to beaten egg and then add to flour mixture. Mix well. Makes about 3 cups.
For Sandwiches:
for each sandwich, use 1 slice each of turkey, cheese and ham. Place cheese between turkey and ham. Cut sandwich into quarters, using wood picks to hold sandwich. Dip in batter, then fry in oil heated to 360 degrees until golden brown.
Remove and sprinkle with powdered sugar.
