Ingredients
- 1-1/2 C lightly packed basil leaves
- 1/2 C extra virgin olive oil
- 1/2 C finely grated Parmigiano Reggiano
- 3 Tbl red or white wine vinegar
- 2 Tbl fresh lemon juice
- 2 tsp garlic, finely chopped
- 1/2 tsp finely grated lemon zest
- 3/4 tsp kosher salt
- Freshly ground black pepper

Step 1
Put basil, oil, cheese, vinegar, juice, garlic and zest in blender. Blend until smooth. Season with salt and peppr to taste.
Whole or chopped toasted pine nuts make a good garnish for this vinaigrette.
