Ingredients

  • 6 cups chicken stock or broth
  • 2 cups cooked chicken
  • 4 sticks celery (cut up bite size)
  • 2 carrots (cut up bite size)
  • 1 small onion (chopped)
  • 1 tblsp turmeric
  • 1 tblsp thyme
  • salt & pepper
  • 1 pkg frozen Reames Homestyle Egg Noodles
  • 2 tblsp flour
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/3 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tblsp parsley

Preparation

Step 1

Bring broth to a boil.
Add celery, carrots, onion, turmeric, thyme, salt & pepper.
Cook approximately 30 minutes until vegetables are tender.
Add chicken & noodles; cook approximately 25-30 minutes until noodles are tender.
Whisk flour & water together & stir into boiling pot (to thicken)
Add cream & parsley.
Serve hot.
