Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked wild rice
  • 1 large onion chopped
  • 1 cup celery chopped
  • 1 cup mushrooms chopped
  • 4 cups half and half
  • 4 cups water
  • 9 chicken bouillin cubes
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 1/2 sticks butter

Preparation

Step 1

Cook rice. Saute onions and celery in butter, add mushrooms. Sprinkle flour to above and make a roue. In separate pan, add rice, water, and bouillon and start to heat. Then whisk in roue until incorpiorated. Heat and then add half and half . Do not boil. Can add cooked chicken if desired.
