Ingredients
- 4 Tbsp Butter
- 1 onion - finely diced
- 1-2 cloves garlic minced
- 2 Tbsp flour
- 1 can (28 oz) crushed tomatoes
- 3-4 C chicken stock
- 2 Tbsp sugar
- 2 Tbsp basil
- 1/2 C cream

Preparation
Step 1
saute onions in butter - about 5 min
add garlic and flour and cook about 2 min
whisk in chicken stock until rue dissolves
add tomatoes, basil and sugar
bring to boil and then reduce to simmer for about 20 min
add cream and simmer another 10 min
