Ingredients

  • Directions:
  • 2 packages (9 oz each) refrigerated tortellini
  • 1/2 c. chopped onion
  • 1/3 c. butter, cubed
  • 1 1/2 c. frozen peas, thawed
  • 1 c. fresh mushrooms, thinly sliced
  • 1 c. fully cooked ham, cubed
  • 1 3/4 c. heavy whipping cream
  • 1/2 t. coarsely ground pepper
  • 3/4 c. grated parmesean cheese
  • shredded parmesean cheese, optional
  • ●Cook tortellini according to package directions.
  • ●Meanwhile, in a large skillet, saute onion and butter until tender. Add peas, mushrooms and ham; cook until mushrooms are tender. Stir in cream and pepper; heat thoroughly. Stir in grated parmesean cheese until melted.
  • ●Drain tortellini and place in a serving dish; add the sauce and toss to coat.
