Ingredients
- Directions:
- 2 packages (9 oz each) refrigerated tortellini
- 1/2 c. chopped onion
- 1/3 c. butter, cubed
- 1 1/2 c. frozen peas, thawed
- 1 c. fresh mushrooms, thinly sliced
- 1 c. fully cooked ham, cubed
- 1 3/4 c. heavy whipping cream
- 1/2 t. coarsely ground pepper
- 3/4 c. grated parmesean cheese
- shredded parmesean cheese, optional
- ●Cook tortellini according to package directions.
- ●Meanwhile, in a large skillet, saute onion and butter until tender. Add peas, mushrooms and ham; cook until mushrooms are tender. Stir in cream and pepper; heat thoroughly. Stir in grated parmesean cheese until melted.
- ●Drain tortellini and place in a serving dish; add the sauce and toss to coat.
