Ingredients
- 4 cups flour
- 2 tablespoons baking powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2/3 cup oil
- 1 3/4 cup water
- Raisin Bannock
- To dry ingredients, add 1/2 cup of sugar and 2 cups of raisins. Grease cookie sheet, but do not add flour.

Preparation
Step 1
1. Heat oven to 350°F
2. Mix flour, salt and baking powder in a large bowl.
3. Combine water and oil in a bowl.
4. Make a well in the center of the dry ingredients. Pour water and oil into the well.
5. With a wooden spoon, pull the flour into the center and mix a little at a time. Flour countertop. Knead dough several times until it forms a soft ball.
6. Shake 1 tablespoon of flour on cookie sheet to cover lightly.
7. Place dough on cookie sheet. Flatten slightly and put holes in the top with a fork.
8. Bake until brown approximately 20 to 30 min.
Makes 6 to 8 servings.
Helpful Hints:
If dough is too sticky, add a little flour.
If dough is too dry, add a little oil.
