Ingredients
- Almond Glaze:
- 3 c. flour
- 2 1/4 c. sugar
- 4 1/4 t. poppy seeds
- 1 1/2 t. baking powder
- 1/2 t. salt
- 3 eggs
- 1 1/c c. milk
- 1 c. oil
- 1 1/2 t. vanilla
- 1 tsp. almond extract
- 1 c. powdered sugar
- 1/3 c. orange juice
- 1/2 t. almond extract
- 1/2 t. vanilla

Step 1
Stir together dry ingredients. Combine eggs, milk, oil & flavorings & add dry ingredients. Stir just until moistened. Grease & flour 2 -8 x 4 x 2" loaf pans. Turn batter into pans. Bake loaves at 350˚ for 1 1/4 hours or until done. Cover with foil the last 15 minutes to prevent overbrowning. Cool in pans on wire rack for 10 minutes. Remove & spoon glaze over warm bread.
