Ingredients

  • Cake:
  • 1 box yellow cake mix
  • 4 eggs
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/2 cup oil
  • 1/2 cup rum
  • 1 small pkg. vanilla instant pudding
  • Sauce:
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1/4 cup rum

Preparation

Step 1

Cake: Beat all ingredients together with mixer for4 min. on medium speed. Butter a bundt pan. Bake cake at 325 for 50 min.

Sauce: Combine butter sugar and water in a saucepan, boil for one minute. Remove from heat and add 1/4 cup rum. Pierce cake with fork and drip hot mixture over cake while still in pan. Let cool. Remove from pan. Best served the next day.
