Ingredients

  • 8 tbs butter
  • 1/4 c olive oil
  • 2 tbs garlic,finely chopped
  • 1 tbs cracked black pepper
  • 1 tbs Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/4 tsp thyme
  • 2 tsp Louisiana-style hot pepper sauce
  • 1 1/2 lbs shrimp, shelled and deveined
  • salt to taste

Preparation

Step 1

1) heat large sauté pan (large enough to hold shrimp in one layer) or a 9x13baking dish. add butter, oil, garlic, black pepper, Worcestershire sauce, thyme and hot pepper sauce; stir and cook for 1 minute. add shrimp and toss in sauce, and even them out in one layer. sprinkle with salt and place in a preheated 375 oven for 3-5 minutes or until they are just done, tossing them once.

2( serve in soup bowls with sauce.
