Ingredients
- 1/2 c basil leaves
- 1/3 c mint leaves
- 3 tbs minced seeded jalapeño pepper(can use milder chili like Anaheim)
- 2 tbs white vinegar
- 2 1/2 tsp minced peeled fresh ginger
- 1 tsp sugar
- 2 tsp fish sauce
- 2 garlic cloves, shopped
- 4 (6oz) salmon steaks (1 inch thick)
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/8 tsp black pepper
- cooking spray
- 1/4 c finely chopped fresh basil
- 4 lime wedges

Step 1
1) prepare grill
2) combine first 8 ingredients in a blender or food processor and process until smooth. set aside. sprinkle salmon steaks with salt and pepper. place fish on a grill rack coated with cooking spray and grill for 5 minutes on each side or until fish flakes easily when tested with a fork. spoon sauce over fish and garnish with chopped basil and lime wedges.
