Ingredients

  • beef rib bones- as many as desired
  • salt and pepper
  • 2 cups sour cream
  • 1 cup prepared mustard seasoned bread crumbs
  • Parmesan cheese
  • butter, melted

Step 1

Always use the 2-1 ratio for sour cream and mustard if you need more of the mixture than the prescribed amount. Sprinkle bones with salt and pepper and bake in a 350 oven until medium-well done, about 1 hour. Do this on a rack set into a large pan to allow any fat to drain. Remove from oven and let cool, slightly. Combine sour cream and mustard and coat bones, heavily, on all sides and ends. Roll in mixture of bread crumbs and parmesan cheese, again as thickly as possible. Place coated bones on rack in pan and carefully pour melted butter over all. Just before serving broil or heat in very hot oven until heated through. Coating will be crunchy.
