  • 2 cups apple juice
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 2 tbsp cornstarch
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • Pinch of ground cloves
  • 1/4 tsp nutmeg
  • Pinch of salt
  • 3 tbsp rum

Step 1

Bring apple juice to a boil. combine sugar, cornstarch, spices and salt. Add a small amount of apple juice and mix. Add this mixture to hot apple juice and simmer for 1 minute. Stir in rum. Serve over apple pie with vanilla ice cream
