If you don't have time to marinate the meat, you can use this sauce for basting about 10 minutes before the meat is done; then serve the sauce on the side as well.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup soy sauce 1/2 cup Dijon mustard
  • 1/2 cup Bourbon 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 tps salt
  • 1/8 tsp Worcestershire 1/8 tsp black pepper

Preparation

Step 1

Mix all ingredients until the sugar has dissolved. Marinate the meat in the mixture for 1 hour (turning several times). Use the marinade as a baste during cooking. Discard the mixture after using.
