Here it is, for Beth and Heather:) This was one of their absolute FAVORITE desserts when they were little! I'll have to start making it again:)

Frozen Grasshopper Pie 1 Picture

Ingredients

  • 20 oreo cookies
  • 5 Tb. butter, melted
  • 3/4 c. hot milk
  • 24 large marshmellows
  • 1/4 c. creme de menthe liqueur (green)
  • 2 Tb. white creme de cacao liqueur
  • 1 c. heavy whipping cream, whipped

Preparation

Step 1

Crust:
Preheat oven to 450. Mix crushed oreo cookies & butter (easiest in food processor). Pat into bottom and sides of sprayed 10" pie pan. Bake for 5-10 min. Remove from oven and cool completely. Then place in freeze to chill.

Filling:
In saucepan, melt marshmellows in milk over medium heat. Remove from heat and cool. Add liqueurs and mix well. Add a drop or 2 of green food color, if desired. Fold in whipped cream. Pour into chilled pie crust. Freeze at least 3-4 hours.
