What 1950's holiday dinner wouldn't be complete without JELLO? This recipe is updated and doesn't need a mold ... It's YUMMY and kids love it! Why not? It has sherbet in it!

Ingredients

  • 1-1/2 c. boiling water
  • 1 6-oz. pkg orange jello
  • 1 pint orange sherbet, softened
  • 1 11-oz. can mandarin oranges, drained
  • 8 oz. Cool Whip (you'll only use about 3/4 of the container)

Preparation

Step 1

Pour boiling water into a bowl and add jello, stirring until dissolved. Then add softened orange sherbet and stir until it melts completely. Refrigerate about 2 hours, or until thickened.

Pour jello and oranges into a food processor. Add Cool Whip and pulse gently until just blended. Refrigerate 2 hours or overnight
