Ingredients

  • 2/3 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon celery salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 3 pounds chicken thighs or mixed parts
  • reserved juice from pineapple
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 14 ounces canned pineapple chunks, drained, cut smaller

Preparation

Step 1

Mix first 5 ingredients in paper or plastic bag.

Line small roaster with foil Brush foil with margarine. Coat chicken pieces in bag, a few at a time. Arrange in roaster.

Stir pineapple juice, soy sauce and sugar together in small bowl. Drizzle over chicken. Cover. Bake in 375 oven for about 1 1/2 hours until tender.

Scatter pineapple over chicken. Bake, uncovered, about 5 minutes until heated through.
