Ingredients
- Crust:
- 1-1/4 cups crushed choclate wafers
- 4 tbsp. melted butter
- Filling:
- 1 litre chocolate ice cream
- 3 squares semi-sweet chocolate
- 1/4 cup whipped cream
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 2 tbsp. butter
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- Garnish:
- whipped cream
- cherries

Preparation
Step 1
1. Combine the crust ingredients and press onto the bottom and sides of a 9" pie plate. Bake crust for 10 minutes at 375F. Cool completely.
2. Spread chocolate ice cream on crust. Freeze until firm; about 2 hours.
3. Melt over low heat the semi-sweet chocolate, whipped cream, sugar, and butter. Stir and heat until mixture is smooth and boils. Remove from heat; blend in vanilla. Cool mixture slightly; pour over ice cream. Freeze for 1-1/2 hours before serving.
Serve with whipped cream and a cherry if desired.
