Ingredients

  • 3 egg Yolks
  • 3 tbsp. powdered sugar
  • 2 tbsp. thick sour cream
  • 1/4 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1 cup sifted all-purpose flour

Preparation

Step 1

Beat egg yolks lightly. Add sugar. Add sour cream and vanilla. Blend well. Add flour and salt. Mix until well blended. Roll out on floured board till dough is paper thin. Cut in strips and make bowknots out of dough.

Fry in deep fat. Sprinkle with powdered sugar.
