Ingredients

1 c. shortening
2 c. sugar
3 eggs
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. soda
4 1/2 c. flour

Preparation

Step 1

Cream all but soda and flour together. Add flour and soda and mix well. Chill dough 2 hours or more. Roll out dough and transfer cut-outs to prepared cookie sheet. Can decorate with colored sugar. Bake at 350 for 12-15 min.
