Sour Cream Cookies

Ingredients

• 4 c. flour
• 1 tsp. soda
• 1 tsp. baking powder
• 2 sticks butter
• 1 3/4 c. sugar
• 1/2 tsp. salt
• 1 c. sour cream
• 2 eggs
• 1 tsp. vanilla

Preparation

Step 1

Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs and mix in well. Sift together dry ingredients and add to creamed mixture. Mix together well. Drop onto greased cookie sheet by teaspoonful. Flatten with tongs of fork (can fork in cup of water to keep dough from sticking to fork). Sprinkle cookies with sugar. Bake at 375 for 8 minutes.
