Ingredients
- 4 TB flour
- 2 TB sugar
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp dry mustard
- 2 raw egg yolks1
- 1/2 cups milk
- 1/3 cup vinegar
- 1 TB butter or margarine
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise (optional)

Preparation
Step 1
Stir flour, sugar, salt & mustard together in 2-qt saucepan. Put yolks, milk & vinegar through blender few seconds, high speed till combined. Stir into flour mixture & cook, stirring constantly on med-high till thick & smooth. Allow to boil 1 min. Remove from heat at once. Stir in butter & mayonnaise.
Cool & refrigerate, tightly covered to used in 6 weeks.
Makes 1 pint.
