Holiday Spritz Cookies

Ingredients

• 1 cup Butter, room temperature
• 1 small package(about 3 oz.) Cream Cheese, room temperature
• 1 cup Sugar
• 1 Egg Yolk
• 1 1/2 tsp Vanilla
• 1/2 tsp Almond extract
• 2 1/2 cup Flour
• 1/2 tsp Baking powder
• 1/4 tsp. Salt

Preparation

Step 1

1. Preheat oven to 350.
2. Cream butter and cream cheese until light. Add sugar; beat until light and fluffy. Beat in egg yolk, vanilla and almond extract.
3. Shape the cookie dough into small logs which will fit into your cookie press.
4. Press onto ungreased cookie sheet.
5. Bake for about 12to 15 minutes or until bottoms are lightly browned.
