Ingredients
- 2 cups milk
- 2 cups waater
- 2 Tbsp. salt
- 1/2 cup shortening
- 2 Tbsp. molasses
- 2 cups brown sugar
- 2 pkgs. quick rise yeast
- 3 cups light rye flour
- 7 to 8 cups white flour

Preparation
Step 1
Dissolve yeast in 1/2 cup warm water and 2 Tbsp sugar. Then proceed with above. Knead stiff with white flour.
Let rise to double. Divide into 4 loaves. Let rise to double again.
Bake at 325 for 45 minutes.
