SHORT RIBS IN BBQ SAUCE

- 6-8-lbs beef short ribs
- 1 cup Catalina Salad Dressing
- 1 cup Ketchup
- 1 cup bottled apple butter
- 12-oz can 7-UP

Preparation
Step 1
Simmer the short ribs in enough water to keep them submerged m a covered kettle on top of the stove-about 15 mins. Drain water & keep it refrigerated in covered container to use later in which to boil cabbage or potatoes to accompany the short ribs. Arrange drained pieces of the ribs in an accommodating roasting pan with a lid. Combine remaining ingredients & pour over ribs, repeating the sauce mixture as necessary to adequately cover the ribs.
Bake covered at 325F 5 hours or 50 minutes in microwave pressure cooker-removing bones and fat halfway through cooking. Baste every so often in the pan sauces & drippings. Refrigerate 24 hours & return 1 to bake at 350F-l l/2-hrs before serving.
Serves 10 to 12.
