Ingredients
- Plain Spaghetti Sauce:
- 6-oz can tomato paste
- 2 tomato paste cans of water
- 2 TB prepared Herb mix
- 2 TB margarine
- 8 oz thin spaghetti (cooked, drained but DO NOT rinse)
- Parmesan, grated
- Meat Sauce:
- l 1/2-2 lbs ground beef
- 2 TB oil
- 1 (14 oz) can stewed tomatoes
- 8 oz can tomato sauce
- 2 TB Herb mix
- Thin spaghetti, cooked &drained

Step 1
Plain Spaghetti Sauce:
Use 1 1/2 Qt saucepan, combining in it tomato paste & tomato paste cans of water with 2 TB prepared Herb mix (from recipe below). Add margarine. Heat on medium, stirring constantly till piping hot. Spoon over spaghetti. Serve with grated Parmesan.
Meat Sauce:
Brown ground beef in oil in medium skillet, till pink color disappears, crumbling with back of fork. While meat is browning, put into the blender stewed tomatoes, tomato sauce and 2 TB Herb mix (from recipe below). Blend high speed till smooth. Pour into meat in skillet & stir over medium heat till piping hot. Serve over cooked, drained, thin spaghetti. Serves 2.
Herb & Spice Mix:
1 packet Mix & Eat Cream of Wheat or 3 TB quick-cooking Cream of Wheat
1/2 tsp black pepper
2 TB season salt
2 tsp onion powder
2 tsp garlic salt
2 tsp sugar
1 TB dehydrated celery leaves
1 TB dry oregano leaves
1 TB dry minced onion
As listed put all but dry minced onions into blender. Blend with on/off on high speed about 2 mins or till well powdered but so there is still a slight trace of celery leaves in it. Then add onion & blend just a few seconds to break them up, but not powder them. Empty the mixture into container with tight-fitting lid and store at room temperature.
