SWEET & SOUR SAUCE SPAGHETTI SAUCE

Ingredients
- 1 (l lb) jar Prego Spaghetti Sauce With Meat Flavoring
- 1 (14 oz) can stewed tomatoes
- 1 envelope onion soup mix
- 1 (8 oz) can jellied cranberry sauce

Preparation
Step 1
Put everything into your blender on high speed, about 1 minute or til smooth. Dump it into a 2-qt saucepan. Cook over med-high. stirring often, till piping hot.
Sufficient to serve with 1 lb cooked, hot, drained spaghetti or other pasta.
Serves 4 to 6.
Leftover sauce may be refrigerated to be used within a week. Or you may freeze leftover sauce to be used within 3 months.
SPAGHETTI SAUCE OPTIONS:
To spaghetti sauce, you may also add in 1 lb browned and crumbled ground beef OR an 8-oz can drained mushrooms OR 8-oz thinly sliced pepperoni, cutting each slice with kitchen scissors into smaller pieces, if you wish. You can crumble enough leftover, cold meatloaf to give you about 2 cupsful, and stir that into the sauce as you heat it.
